Current Holiday PICKS ;)

Wow. It’s been so long since I those days I posted frequently like 2 times a week :)
Well, this is HOLIDAY anyway, and I’m just too excited :D

So these are my current holiday picks (unordered list ;) ):

4.
I had a date with my ‘lil brother, Zakki. We spent the day strolling the mall. It was my treat. We went to the bookshops, I took picture of him with my Diana, we chatted a lot, we laughed about how I would always end up buying nothing. I told him, someday I would settle up and I would buy him anything he likes :P

5.
We also ate fast food. We had chocolate sundae and everything with countless calories. Another diet failure, but well, it’s holiday. We all heart fast food, don’t we? :P

1.
My father presented me voucher that can be used in stores and restos those normally out of my price range. Compared to spending them in Zara for only a piece of dress that surely would end up virgin in my wardrobe, Kinokuniya was surely the best choice ;) and It was celebrating its anniversary and gave 15% OFF for everything for 3 days (26-28 of June) and you can guess the happy ending :D

I bought The Complete Illustrated Lewis Carroll. Almost screamed and cried to see it was only Rp.90.000,00 (before 15% discount!!!).

2.
This one also almost made me jump and roll there. Future Dictionary of America.

This book was conceived by Safran Foer Foer, Nicole Krauss, and Dave Eggers as a way to bring over a hundred authors together to promote progressive causes in the November 2004 election. The book is an imagining of what a dictionary might look like about thirty years hence, when all of the world’s problems are solved and our current president is a distant memory. The book is by turns funny, outraged, utopian, and dyspeptic.

Over 150 writers contributed to the book, including: Stephen King, Robert Olen Butler, Glen David Gold, Richard Powers, Susan Straight, Sarah Vowell, Billy Collins, C.K. Williams, Colson Whitehead, Donald Antrim, Jonathan Franzen, Edwidge Danticat, Edward Hirsch, Joyce Carol Oates, Katha Pollitt, Padgett Powell, Paul Auster, Anthony Swofford, Julia Alvarez, Susan Choi, Jim Shepard, Aimee Bender, and Art Spiegelman.

Hardcover editions of the book will also include a CD compilation, with all new songs by the best musicians working. Among them: David Byrne, R.E.M., Death Cab for Cutie, Moby, Sleater-Kinney, Flaming Lips, Tom Waits, Yo La Tengo, Bright Eyes, They Might Be Giants, Elliott Smith, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Well, this book is not new by the way. I’ve known book since 2 years ago, Mbak Vena brought this book from US for my Sis .

3.
True Love and Other Lies by Whitney Gaskell. Chicklit, about travel writer and happily ever after is always my reading pleasure. YAY! :D

6.
Well. Yesterday, I also purchased my third Lomo. Purple FishEye. I love love love love love love it. At first, I wasn’t interested with Fisheye stuff. But I can’t resist the temptation of the OH-SO-WIDE angled plastic lens. I would capture this holiday with my lomo family. Ms.Diana, Mr.Oktomat, and Ms.FishyFishyEye.. :D

7.
Okay. Now I really have to end this post, turn off the PC, run for a quick shower, because I will meet my dear best friend. And I will meet another best friends tomorrow. And the day after tomorrow. And the day after the day after tomorrow.

I HEART HOLIDAY!!! ♥♥♥
