All Love Stories are The Same

Entah sejak kapan tepatnya gue nggak mau lagi membahas tentang cerita percintaan gue di blog. Selain memang nggak punya kehidupan percintaan, well, I’ve experienced too many unpredictable silent readers, like I posted about this and that cheesy and corny love-babbling, then the next morning they asked me, “gimana Put, si pria berbaju biru?” *humiliated :P*

However, it doesn’t mean I stop thinking about how more-than-a-life all those love stories can be. Gue habis berbincang-bincang sama seorang sahabat. We talked much about these 4 letters. 4 letters those bring hundreds points of view, thousand scenes, millions feelings. Some sound naive, some are sad, and all are connected to each other.

But all love stories are the same, like Paolo Coelho said.

For me, because the storyteller would eventually say: It’s all because of love.

Semua cerita cinta akan menjadikan cinta sebagai dasar, sebagai alasan, sebagai pembelaan.

Terlalu banyak cerita yang gue dengar, terlalu banyak sudut pandang yang gue hadapi, tapi alasannya nggak jauh-jauh dari, “habis gue sayang put sama dia,” then the conversation was suddenly over, with me having nothing else to say. And I started wondering if love is, like the.. absolution.

Like “Say the L word, and you’re on the right track”.

Melawan orang tua. Pindah agama. Mengkhianati teman. Melawan kodrat. Menghancurkan rumah tangga yang sudah berdiri lama. Melakukan hal-hal yang seharusnya tidak dilakukan sebelum menikah. Berselingkuh.
Membohongi. Dibohongi.
Mengutip kata Kahitna, “Cinta takkan salah.”

Well, you’re maybe on the right track, but are you in the right train and heading for right destination?

    do we need any reason to love?

    tapi emang bener put, kalo udah bawa-bawa cinta, susah bener rasanya untuk bisa jadi rasional, cinta bikin buta. zzz (doh)

    apakah cinta segitu ga bisa dikendalikannya oleh otak?temen gw bilang,kalao ada cinta di antara jurang … perbedaan,(kata2 gw dangdut bgt deh) keikhlasan dan kerelaan bisa mengendalikannya.
