Happy Blogger Day! :)

October 28th, 2009 — 9:00am

Happy (belated) Blogger Day! :)

It should be yesterday but I didn’t know what I should have posted to celebrate it. It’s unlike a birthday when you can make wishes, or have sparkling cakes. It’s unlike a wedding day when you can tell about how much you are nervous and happy and in love. It’s unlike Kartini day that everybody should wear particular costume, in this case, for example, wearing modem as statement necklace.

It’s Blogger Day because the minister of communication and information declared so, in the first Pesta Blogger this date two years ago. I didn’t attend the previous twos (2007 & 2008), so I decided to come this year. Pesta Blogger 2009. And it felt like a reunion. Reunion with good old friends. ‘Old friends’ because we talked about ‘those good old days’. It is called ‘those good old days’, not because our days are not good anymore. It has just changed a lot.

After 7 years, some of us stay, and some quit. A few have gone famous and succesful. Many have got married, and the rest have got drunk. I left my teenage years and I grow up. It has just changed a lot. How I write, and how I mention myself. How I read other blogs, and how people read mine. How we define ‘blogger’, how we define ‘blogging’.

Good old friends’, because we’ve been friends through these changes :) :)

And here are some pictures of Pesta Blogger 2009 I took with my Fish Eye camera (well, yeah, call it Lomo):

So, happy (belated) Blogger Day, everyone!

Let’s blog. Let’s start, and restart :)

Photoblog

August 5th, 2009 — 5:21pm

Actually I have one or two drafts to post, but they are not that finished yet. So I’ll just come short.

I’ve just got back from Comic monthly event. Was invited by mas Amal. The theme was about photoblogging with Budi Sukmana and Eric Setiawan as the speakers. Well, I had previously talked a bit about this with mas Budi when we met for 15-rolls-of-KodakEktachrome100PLUS/EPP transaction :P This evening we talked more in group (so nice to meet Pak Budi Rahardjo eventually) :)

We talked about what the real photoblogging is. They showed many photoblogs, and told many out-of-the-box non-commercial photo projects. Like 2 people separately took pictures at the same time, and joined the pictures up. Wonderful! :D

What I could conclude is that photoblogging is not about taking perfect photos, with perfect composition, and perfect lighting. It’s about how you blog with photos. How you story-tell with photos. Even if the picture was blur, maybe it could tell that you had been in such unstable situation, or maybe, you had been laughing a bit too happily at that time. In this case he is my current favorite. WOW!

The meeting brought sooooo much inspiration for me, and maybe for all who attended. I already have some ideas on my mind. Fab! :D

Okay. While waiting for my upcoming personal project (not to mention prewedding lomo shots *evilsmirk at diki*), you can check my own Photoblog, in Oh.Photos.ByPuty.com ;) I don’t know but I love the name, with “Oh!” in front of it. Sounds exciting :D

Happy Birthday BBV :)

July 7th, 2009 — 2:41am

Please survive the blogsphere, BBV. Even Kurt Cobain had 27 birthdays before comitting suicide.

Please survive the blogsphere :)

Accomplished Missions, and Other Multitasking-Plans Ahead

February 10th, 2009 — 12:25pm

  1. Menyelesaikan ospek jurusan dan menjadi anggota Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Geologi ‘GEA’ – ITB
  2. Dapet IP bagus
  3. Masuk Liga Film Mahasiswa ITB

Those accomplished missions would bring another missions for years to come.

  1. Gue ingin mengembangkan eksplorasi terhadap alternative photography (lomo and other toy cameras, cross-processed photos, dll), dan bikin kegiatan yang mendukungnya. Ini adalah misi utama di LFM.

Ok.

Sebetulnya gue capek, setelah satu semester dihajar kesibukan tak henti-henti.
Geeks yang suka mengotak-atik layout blog seharian, as you all might have known, heheh.

I can’t literally mention you all one by one here, but I know you know that you are mentioned here.

LONG LIVE MULTITASKING! <3
