A Sad News and A Lesson

A few days ago, our best friends couple (both the husband and wife were classmates of my and my husband) lost their baby boy which was stillborn on the 37+ weeks of pregnancy. It happened suddenly and everyone was surprised because everything had been well. The wife seemed to have taken the pregnancy seriously with extra care and I, of course, naturally voluntarily had given her quite a lot of advice and tips and tricks (even when I hadn’t been asked, duh). Aida stared at the screen of her phone, unblinking until it dimmed due to inactivity. Her mind went blank yet jammed at the same time and stayed that way for the next couples of minutes. The breaking news on Twitter just told her that a plane flying to Singapore lost. A plane with flight code on Rudolf’s text that she suspected got multiple recipients; herself, his company chauffeur, and his wife. She didn’t know what to do, the news was unclear and unconfirmed.
