Once @NGtravelerID tweeted a question about favorite traveling soundtrack. I replied that mine is ‘Chicago’ by Sufjan Stevens, and I read people’s favorites; all were interesting.
I have my own traveling playlist. It consists of my favorite tracks that keep hundreds of moving pictures from windows I ever sat by, just like collectible treasures. The other else are either having a place’s name or just not-too-energetic-not-too-sad enough for hours of waiting to arrive.
Here is mine.
- Sufjan Stevens – Chicago
- Melpo Mene – I Adore You
- Vanessa Carlton – A Thousand Miles
- Float – Pulang
- Weezer – Island in the Sun
- The Trees & The Wild – Malino
- Travis – Coming Around
- Telekinesis! – Coast of Carolina
- Sore – Mata Berdebu
- Sambassadeur – That Town
- Michael Buble – Haven’t Met You Yet
- Kevin Jonas – I Left My Heart in Scandinavia ;)
- Jens Lekman – A Postcard to Nina
- Jack Johnson – Gone Going
- Death Cab for Cutie – Why’d You Want to Live Here
- Datarock – Fa Fa Fa
- Cut Copy – Feel The Love
- Camera Obscura – Let’s Get Out of This Country
- Belle & Sebastian – A Summer Wasting
- Beirut – In The Mausoleum
- The Decemberist – O Valencia
- Team Me – Weathervanes and Chemicals
- Kings of Convenience – Homesick
Tell me yours then :)
